"I think Mitt gets the GOP nod but he chooses Tim Pawlenty for the Veep spot.
Allen West is an interesting choice and would give Biden a run for gaffs
but I think that after a long primary of tacking hard right to try and
appeal to primary voters, Romney will have to chose a more centrist VP to
reaffirm the non-threatening image that he's been trying trying to run away
from."

Interesting. You think a centrist candidate would need to choose a
centrist VP to shore up the vote. I could buy that for Gingrich or
Santorum.

"West would satisfy social issues voters on the right but do you think the
general election will really be fought on social issues? "

Hope not.

West would strictly be for winning the state of Florida, appeasing what's
left of the tea party movement, strengthening the military vote, and
hopefully siphoning off a percentage point or two of the Black Vote.
West's politics would be strictly for show.
