The media has a very bad history of discussing anything technical,
particularly cookies. Sounds like the claim is that the government is using
a proxy to intercept request traffic in order to instal cookies.  Does any
else see the problem with this logic? If they are using a proxy to
intercept your traffic, are they not already able to see everything you are
doing online? Why does adding a cookie matter?
