So they look like mini Blackhawks then> I am just not seeing their size? Is
it possible that the 160th has NG and Reserve components/sister units? Do
you know the name of the chopper?

>From a wiki on them.." In 1986, it was re-designated as the 160th Aviation
Group (Airborne); and in May 1990, the 160th Special Operations Aviation
Regiment (Airborne). As demand for highly-trained Special Operations
Aviation assets bloomed, the regiment activated three battalions, a separate
detachment, and incorporated one Army National Guard unit, the 1st
Battalion, 245th Aviation (OK ARNG)" Since this was from 86...it is
entirely possible they have expanded on this and created other NG
units...not discounting the possibility that active duty troops are involved
though. With all of the other raping and pillaging of our rights...this
would not surprise me and it would be in line with provisions in the Patriot
Act.

IL National guard...not federal troops. ILNG has or has a part of a SFG. A
friend is a member of it... So I don't think this falls under Possee
Commitatus, though it does skate around the spirit of the law. NG troops
are allowed to be used in law enforcement functions...though as we have seen
from the 1960's, they are ill equipped to do so and it lead to some really
bad consequences(Kent State)...not that the police are much better. They
have become paramilitary forces with all of their militarized equipment and
weapons. Welcome to the police state folks...

Right at the opening of this video, see the small helicopter with the guys
legs hanging out, those are little birds, used for dynamic entry missions by
CAG, Ranger Batt and the ISA. Better shots around 50 seconds.

Flown only by the 160th SOAR.

They are much smaller than the Blackhawk, they can have fast rope rigs set
up (you can see the mounts in the video), but usually hover or land so the
guys on the skids can hop off.

Posse Comitatus anyone?
