Not really, the majority of Palestinians arrived after the Arab conquest, partially displacing the jews and Christians living there. Also more recently genetic studies of North African Jews and Jews in Israel who can trace their lineage well before the Zionist settlement movement of the 19th century, show a greater similarity than either their North African neighbours or the Palestinians.
