His plan would provide for pre-existing conditions if you maintain
"continuous" coverage.  Lose your job and can't afford Cobra, you are
screwed.  On your spouse or partner's insurance and they divorce you or
die, you're screwed because you aren't eligible for Cobra and new policies
will not cover you.

No different than the current law.  Sticks it to a lot of people.

There are vast areas of the Affordable Care Act that I find reprehensible,
including the mandate.  But the pre-existing coverage provision is
absolutely needed.
