Come on Maureen, you are an intelligent woman. It's been well reported the last day or so that there were Predators and other ISR assets overhead Benghazi after the attacks occurred. The feeds are sent to the situation rooms where the president, secdef, secretary of state, CJCS and other high level White House and Pentagon officials can watch.
These are not national secrets and I am sure that you know this. Rice told the CIA that they could not assist. This is all over the news and these are from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi. Why the CIA was saying five days later that it was a video, I don't know. Perhaps when the so called "investigation" is concluded, we'll have answers, but since these videos and such are classified, we may never know. Again, go back to the most important part of the situation, there were live feeds showing what was happening on the ground, and the people watching it KNOW the difference between a coordinated planned attack and a spontaneous protest, so I really don't know why the CIA would say that this was because of a video.
