I would call myself a fiscal conservative, a social moderate and a Jeffersonian radical when it comes to government control...i.e. "he who governs least,, governs best".
Because I hold those stances, I can recognize when a politician is pretending to be conservative but in reality will spend like Paris Hilton when it benefits his cronies.
