There's an alternate explanation. It is: If it looks like a liberal, talks like a liberal, and acts like a liberal, then it probably is a liberal. For the record, I don't like to use the word liberal. Today's liberals aren't liberals at all. They have highjacked the word. Progressive Statist is much more appropriate. One thing I can figure out is why progressive statists are so offended when they are identified as such. I see commercial after commercial of candidates calling themselves conservative yet I never see a commercial with a candidate calling themselves progressive or liberal. Too embarrassed I guess.
