I've owned a Nikon D80 for several years now along with about 5 lenses. This christmas I put a Nikon 1 on my wishlist and got it. It's funny how the camera will affect the way you take pictures. With my D80, I'm usually trying to be more technical in getting the settings correct. The Nikon 1, while it has those settings available, is much more of a auto mode camera.
So far, I've really been digging it. It's small enough to fit in your pocket, but still big enough (sensor wise) to get some great pictures. The V1 has a separate flash unit that I haven't purchased yet so I've also been doing a lot of low light shots. This camera is leaps and bounds better than my D80 at low light.
