With no option for Non US customers (the majority of Adobe's customers I'm sure) to purchase boxed copies, they will be beholden to the predatory and exploitative pricing from Adobe. I am certain and I would bet money that Adobe's subscription pricing is going to be higher outside the United States. And there's no reason for that, there are ZERO duties to be paid for a digital product. This also assumes an upgrade in 3 years. Guess what, many users don't upgrade. Simply because the new "features" aren't compelling and what they have works just fine. So for those people it will cost a whole lot more. Suddenly they don't have a choice to control their costs anymore, they are forced to pay a fixed yearly fee.
