Historically, immigrants, both legal and illegal, have been the scapegoats
for problems in just about every country...this is nothing new.

Actually both in the US and Europe, immigrants in general are supposed to be
a problem.

The position by political parties is that immigration on the whole should be
stopped, or greatly curtailed and one of the reasons has been the supposed
drain that immigrants put on the public healthcare system.
