Yup and the motivations too. The illegal immigrants are disliked for a pretty wide variety of reasons (not the least of which is that they broke the law by entering the country), but that tend to be centered more around being a suck on the economy in certain ways (healthcare). On the other hand, LEGAL immigrants usually pay their fair share just like everyone else, but people tend to feel that legal immigrants are "stealing dem der hard earned 'merican jobs away from us here folk".
