It's moot who your phone company is. They collect the data from all of them. The only reason you're hearing about Verizon is that they demanded the government renew the demand letter every 90 days. The other companies, especially AT&T, just fork over the data.
Did you see the other news stories that surfaced today about PRISM. Everyone is going to be pulling their hair and running in circles over it. I've been telling everyone for years that the government was reading everything posted and the only way to maintain complete privacy was not put your stuff on the internet..
