Perhaps it wasn't this list, but if memory serves, in the post 9/11
days, I felt like the proverbial voice in the wilderness when I
insisted that if the government was granted the power to do
warrant-less wiretaps or make arrests of  "terrorists" they would
label anyone who disagree with them a terrorists.  I was then
thoroughly pummeled for not loving my country or being a patriot.
