My problem with this survey is it asks people for their perception of the cause of the problem - facts be damned.
My perception on an earlier thread was that you said all democrats were racist. Does that mean my perception is correct? (You said it wasn't and implied it was my problem that the perception was wrong) Why do you feel differently about what these people perceive to be the main cause of poverty"? Because it lines up with how you feel? Many people believe that an invisible being created the entire universe in 6 days about 6,000 years ago (probably more than think welfare is the main cause of poverty). Does that mean its true? Far from it. Going back to yet another thread (maybe it was the same one as above..cannot recall), wasn't there a recent survey where 'many' people felt the GOP was 'racist'? Does that mean that because 'many' people perceive this to be true that it is true? Far from it.
