> Is the men's department part of Wal-Mart?

Not to jump back into this discussion, but you'd be surprised at how
many different companies make up a single Wal-Mart store. When I
worked there (granted, 11 years ago, so some things may have changed)
the shoe department was technically considered a different division
with its own management structure, employees, etc (e.g. someone
working in shoes couldn't be called out to do work in another
department because of the way it was set up). Jewelry, photo lab, eye
doctor, portrait studio, and some others are (or were) the same way.
They're all branded Wal-Mart, but internally they have their own
structures and are separate from the main corporate entity. Heck,
their trucks are even run under a separate "Wal-Mart Transporation,
LLC" company away from the main entity. As for the men's department,
as far as I know that is part of the main corporate entity.
