Seriously though. I dislike the "for the kids" mentality used by both sides to push their agenda.
This is an obvious attempt at making the mad man school spree killing appear to happen more frequently than it actually does. Much the same way I hate that the media has people thinking that we are in the midst of some rash of new gun violence, while gun crimes have gone down across the board for years now. The same way that so called assault weapons, which are used in less than 1% of gun crime, are always attacked by the media. There are lies, damned lies and statistics.
