This hp elite 840 im on with work sucks. But it does run 3 coldfusion
instance along with local db's. Wifi is a pain with it, guess that it my
only real complaint. With the slimdoc I can run two external monitors with
the laptop screen as a 3rd. Thats a plus. I just need a doc for home now :-)

16 gig ram and i5 with 1tb drive should be plenty perfect with any
manufacturer.

Not sure about windows 8 yet though with older cfusions I would stick with
windows7 pro or above.
