Just my 2 cents...

Yesterday I was gonna meet a friend for lunch at a CiCi's Pizza, and I
called her on my cell to help her with directions. I was at a stoplight.
Also there was a cop to the lane right of me, one car behind. And for some
wierd reason, when I saw one car make a turn from the other side of the
road, I instinctively pushed on the gas to go forward, and only a
microsecond later did I notice that the light was still red for me. Man was
I luck I did not get hit. And better yet, the cop didn't notice/care! And
this was because I was talking on my cell phone LOL. This is the first time
it's happened tho.

Enacting laws against this is so stupid ... let's add more crap to the legal
system ... it's the kindergarten principle ... "Jimmy was bad, so the whole
class is staying in for recess" ... there are laws on the book, and I'd bet
there are in every state, against negligent driving ... one law and that
should be enough ... pisses me off that I can act responsibly and still be
violating a law ...

I've seen and heard of several people getting Cell tickets here in Buffalo.

then again I also see cops on their cellphones all the time while
driving, not a headset in sight!
