I didnt have to go through the gastroscopy.

its a simple blood test to see if you got the bacetria then you will get
treatment either helidac or something else i forget the name
most insurance providers DONT cover it so it will be like 150 to buy it all
unless you have a kewl docotor like mine who gave me 5 sample kits which is
enough for free ;)

And then once my treatement is over if i still have heartburn and such he
will do an upper GI to check for any stomach issues/ulcers etc

But yea you just need a good doctor. He was telling me up until about 85
most doctors thought ulcers were stress related but it turns out most are
started with this bacteria that you get through food or drink that is
contaimnated it takes so long to get symptoms that you really dont know what
you got it from either.
