I almost never feel heartburn. Notice, I never /feel/ it. I've found that
when overstressed I get all the secondary symptoms, but by the time I feel
it it's most of the way up my chest. In addition, I don't get the "full"
sensation until I'm really stuffed.
Current theory states that one of two things has occurred:
I was a very cholic-y baby. Either I was eaten up with reflux (and so
burned out the nerves) or I the wiring was never right.
