Critz ... make sure to go to BestBuy or someplace like that and hold the cameras ... 
the feel of it makes a big difference and there are some very big differences between 
the cameras.  Also, if you buy Olympus online (and maybe others have this problem 
too), make sure it is made for the US market.  If you get a grey market camera they 
won't honor the warranty on it.  We like our Olympus so far ...

The wife and I decided on a Sony Mavica Fd-200... 2 megapixel, writes to 
either floppy or memory stick, built-in USB to allow transfer to stick, 
can take movies (no sound)... shopping around it cost us $400.

It's big and bulky... the wife says, "it has substance."  We both like 
it a lot!
