Critz- how big do you want paper prints?
rule of thumb for really high quality paper prints = 250 pixels per inch, 300/inch even better. So for a good to great 8 x 10 you would want 2500 x 2000 or more. This means at least 4 megapixel, preferably 5. If all you want is 4 x 6 snapshots or stuff to email, then you can get by with a 2 megapixel. BTW, the Sam's Club warehouse near me has a new Fuji Mini-Lab which has a self-service kiosk for making prints directly from digital media. You put in the card (CF, SD, MMC, Memory Stick), floppy, or CD, pick which pictures you want, even red-eye reduction and cropping, how many copies of each, then it copies the images to the lab system and gives you a receipt. They print them in the regular mini-lab like they use for prints from film. Great quality, only 14 cents per print. -Ben >From: Critz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: CF-Community <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: Digi Cam suggestions >Date: Thu, 21 Nov 2002 11:51:26 -0500 > >oi CF-Community,!! > > Whatcha got? > > > > -- > Critz > Macromedia Certified Advanced ColdFusion Developer > <CFX_BotMaster Network="Efnet" > Channel="ColdFusion" Blog="http://blog.ctzc.com"> > > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=5 Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
