Of course they had to, otherwise there would be a chorus that there is 
nothing that suggests that the prejudice exists.

Not unscientific. Its a legit survey method. As for a 5000 for a sample 
that's statistically powerful. As for representing the majority of people 
here, no it does not. What it represents is a sample of employers who 
happened to be looking at resumes when they did or did not respond. The 
study did not eliminate all plausible alternative explanations, so it 
doesn't settle anything or confirm/disconfirm a theory. It fits in with 
providing additional support, but its not definitive.
