Journalists have a lot to account for, but their sins don't approach those of talking head windbags what have taken over the airways. Opinion colored as fact, and sound bite journalism degrade the very meaning of a free press. Next to partisan politics, talk radio and television commentaries are leading causes of the divisiveness and hatred overwhelming this country. Hannity and the rest of his ilk don't label their rants as opinion, and most of their audience is not educated enough to recognize them for what they are. They constantly distort the facts to fit their cause de jour, and aren't beyond outright lies. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=5 Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
