The Ati R350 core, is an updated R300 (9700), it will be sold as a 9900 Pro according to strong rumors. It's also rumored to already be in mass production with a release schedule of late march or early april, about the same time as GF FX?

IIRC, the problem with using a Quadro for gaming is that game developers don't support it. My understanding is that it's drivers are a bit different than the standard gaming GeForce cards. How the drivers specifically interact with DX is an issue I believe. So while it works for MoH, there's no telling for sure that it will work for Doom III or whatever. Actually, Doom3 would be an interesting test since I think Carmack does a lot of non-standard stuff.
