I am still making my way through the transcripts, but I feel I need to make a few comments before I forget.
1. At one point Saddam mentions his "unanimous victory" in recent elections in Iraq. Yes well there was one name on the ballot, and abstaining is punishable by death. 2. On the second page of the transcripts he is talking about a great Iraqi victory at Basra during desert storm. This is a figment of his imagination. The Iraqi units in that area were decimated and surrendered in under an hour.
