You could always buy a workstation that is dual compatible. That way you
could find a good price at someplace like pricewatch.com and cut your cost a
bit.

I have seen some good PCs from them, but heard tough criticism over their
workstations. Looking at the price of their dual-processor systems, it looks
like they may be overcharging for the second processor (i.e. it costs the
same as a similar chip in a single processor unit).

Does anyone have some more specific comments about Dell dual-processor
systems?
