We've got 3 Dell systems and a laptop now, and we love every single one
of the,

Dell Dual Xeon PowerEdge - A MONSTER!
Precision 330 Workstation - has works beautifully, even surviving a move
from NJ to England
Dimension 8250 - Just arrived, is my new main computer

Laptop:
Lattitude C840

We love their support, and we can't be bothered to build machines. I'll
strip OS's and install software til the cows come home ... But I'm done
assembling machines from parts. ;)

Three votes for Dell.

I have seen some good PCs from them, but heard tough criticism over
their
workstations. Looking at the price of their dual-processor systems, it
looks
like they may be overcharging for the second processor (i.e. it costs
the
same as a similar chip in a single processor unit).

Does anyone have some more specific comments about Dell dual-processor
systems?
