The real question is "Why not?"

I use them because it's just easier. I actually have 3 on my desk. The one
on the left keeps shows my server monitor so I can see if one if having
trouble. The middle one I use for everyday things like typing this email and
checking out code. On my right I have terminal server connected to various
servers fo whatever I may be doing to them at a time.

Do both monitors cables have ferrite blocks on them?  You can pick
them
up at Radio Shack usually.  That might reduce it.

Another possibilty is to ensure a ground to the "bad" one - loop  wire
from the metal casing (usually visible through the vents) to something
nice an metal - like a baseboard heater or something...

Once you go dual you'll never go back!
