Yea i know but with my sister and a few friends they were told to take it easy to try to be safe and keep from having any problems pop up. I guess its more preventative then anything lol, but i've had bed sores once and hell if i would ever want to get those damn things again. Hope all goes well with the baby baby!

I'm not anxious cause I think it's going to be bad. I'm just anxious cause I want to meet this little person (and I'm getting kind of tired of being preggo). Family leave policy is pretty good here in terms of amount of time I can take off. I can take up to 6 months off. But, we don't actually get any "paid" family leave. I'm welcome to use my vacation and sick time, which is what I plan to do. But, a girl's only got so much of that, ya know. So, the plan is to take 6 weeks off full time, and then 6 weeks part time. Then, my husband takes over and becomes the full time stay at home dad. Oh, and Bill, as to being in bed now - the more active I can stay up until I deliver, the easier delivery will be on my body. It's a pretty out-dated concept to think that pregnancy is some sort of illness. Yah, there are things I can't do (like ride my horse). But, most things are still possible, if just a little less graceful. -d ----- Original Message ----- From: "Craig Dudley" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CF-Community" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, March 07, 2003 6:35 AM Subject: RE: New Baby > Best of luck Deanna, try not to be anxious it's probably not going to be > as bad as you think. > > Dawn, my wife, had an epidural and was pleasantly surprised to find she > didn't feel any pain whatsoever until the pushing started near the end. > Of course she couldn't have the epidural until she was a certain amount > dilated and it sure looks like it hurts until then, I've got scratches > and teeth marks to prove it. > > She had a tens machine through early labour which she didn't think gave > that much relief, but a warm bath did help quite a lot. > > As far as working in the last few weeks goes, you might as well work as > long as you can, if maternity laws in the US are anything like here in > the UK and you get a fixed period off work, it's much better to have > that time with your child, rather than waiting for it to come. > > We'll be wanting plenty of pictures of the little one when he/she > arrives, don't forget! > > -----Original Message----- > From: Bill Wheatley [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: 07 March 2003 12:08 > To: CF-Community > Subject: Re: New Baby > > > eek so you're not married?
