That's weird. While I would assume they would be the same (otherwise
 breaking compatibility within their own product line), this essentially
 weakens the WEP strength.

Am currently using 128-bit encryption. It uses 26 hex digits (entered
manually or generated from a passphrase) for 104 bits of the key, and 24
factory-set bits for the remainder of the key.

The help screen isn't clear on whether these factory-set bits are the same
for other units.

One answer: buy the unit, try to set the key, see if the WiFi device
connects, if not, return the unit!
