I remember when I told the guy at meps that I wanted an Airborne Infantry contract. I thought he was going to shit. He started stammering about my ASVAB scores and how I would be wasting my life as a grunt. Turned out to have been perfectly suited for me.

It beat sitting in class :) I ended up being in the 98th or 99th percentile. I had recruiters calling me left and right. A few of them were trying to get me to be a nuclear tech on a sub and I was like, there's no way in hell you are getting me in one of those things. I would have liked to have been a pilot though. Maybe if I had it all to do over again, I would go for it. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Alvarado" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CF-Community" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, March 13, 2003 3:47 PM Subject: RE: Good Vietnam Music > Lol, yeah I had like the first or second highest score on the ASFAB test > in Dallas the year I took it.
