Depends on whether Saddam wants world opinion to continue to be with him. If he starts lobbing chem weapons into neighboring countries, he loses the "US is a big bully/aggressor" argument.
If he lobs even one chem/bio agent into Israel, there is a high probability (even higher than in '91) that Israel will respond in kind, perhaps even escalating to nukes (Yes Israel has nukes). We've already stated, or rather Bush has, that we're ready to respond in kind to any chem/bio attacks, so there's that too. Who knows? Guess we'll have to wait and see. will ---- William H.
