Dana, Mike, I have been danger close to an AC 130 firing chain guns and artillery from the air. I have been practically under an A-10 when it dropped it's payload. For one I can tell you that the "foot soldiers" have all been close to bombs going off. Whether during live fire exercises, or in Afghanistan, Eastern Europe or South America. Remember, as a nation we have been at war for over 20 years. We don't call it that. We call it "actions other than war" or pacification or "peacekeeping". Soldiers still die, bombs still blow up.
Many of us understand what it is that a bomb does. Do you understand just how particular these strikes are? How specific the targets? Also why is no one talking about Iraq launching Scuds (confirmed)? Why is there no mention of Iraqi soldiers fighting in civilian clothes, pretending to surrender? I don't get it.
