ditto, and I will echo that listening is probably the best bet.

I'm not much for the tinkly classical music, I think I'll dig through and
see what I have, maybe hunt a little with Grokster. How's that for a needle
in a haystack.

Some I like are:
Shostakovich - Violin Concerto No. 1
Mahler- Symphony 1, mv 3, 4
Grofe - Grand Canyon Suite - (5) Cloudburst - look for a good recording
though

? Penguin Cafe Orchestra
? Nexus (I can't remember)

I said before that I really don't know much about classical music. I'm
probably on par with you on that. My real recommendation was that
instead of listening to the 7 songs that get played constantly, just
tune in a classical music station and start listening. That way there is
more variety.

Sure all the songs listed are popular. And they're popular for a reason.
Microsoft's domination of the market has killed all compe...oh wait. Um.
Yeah. I got into classical by listening to all the same stuff as has
been listed. It's just that there's a LOT of stuff out there that is
really nice that I don't even know the names of. I'm not trying to be a
snob. I'm not cultured enough to do so. I just turn on the radio and
enjoy.
