If you are looking for the music on the net, I'd recommend the list put together by Chicago radio host Milt Rosenberg. As the description from his site says, "Extension 720 with Milt Rosenberg is utterly implausible radio, whether the topic is international politics, the state of the English language, the latest discoveries in astrophysics, the history of baseball or what local chefs cook for their own dinners. You won't hear anything, anywhere, quite as stimulating or quite as fascinating." I listen to his show all the time and find it interesting.
Anyway, he adds about 5-6 links per day to his site, 1 music site and the rest news/articles to the "Milt's Files" page. They've consolidated all of the music links under the "Milt's Music" page. Many of the links are to classical music pieces, but there is a large variety of musical genres. http://wgnradio.com/shows/ex720/index.html "Josh Remus" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 06/05/2003 03:32 PM Please respond to cf-community To: CF-Community <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> cc: Subject: RE: Classical Music suggestions As another suggestion, WKAR is an excellent station @ MSU in East Lansing, is free, and doesn't play the "top 40 hits" classical music that my more local classical station does. I don't want to overwhelm their servers with HOF list people, but it's very nice. Only cavaet is they do run some news during the day, I believe. http://www.wkar.org -----Original Message----- From: Raymond Camden [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, June 05, 2003 4:14 PM To: CF-Community Subject: RE: Classical Music suggestions I'd _highly_ suggest [EMAIL PROTECTED] It has multiple classical music channels - it's free - and it's a great way to get into the genre (or any genre actually). ======================================================================== === Raymond Camden, ColdFusion Jedi Master for Mindseye, Inc (www.mindseye.com) Member of Team Macromedia (http://www.macromedia.com/go/teammacromedia) Email : [EMAIL PROTECTED] Blog : www.camdenfamily.com/morpheus/blog Yahoo IM : morpheus "My ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is." - Yoda > -----Original Message----- > From: Kevin Graeme [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Thursday, June 05, 2003 1:12 PM > To: CF-Community > Subject: RE: Classical Music suggestions > > > I said before that I really don't know much about classical > music.
