No it doesn't switch channels for you automagically. But you can easily bind
hot-keys to change to specific channels. So alt-1 = spectator, alt-2 = red,
alt-3 = blue. Easy to switch without leaving the game. Or if you are on a
team/clan, you just have your own channel and don't need to switch.
