No, I never made it past Roswell. Unfortunately my transportation for my entire collage career was a 12 speed bicycle. So, to get father then 10 or 12 miles, I needed to rely on the kindness of peers.
I always wanted to get to Carlsbad Caverns. Lived in NM for almost 5 years and never made it. Another favorite NM factoid. During WWII, the prevailing guess by Pentagon and other high ranking Military and Government employees, who where NOT in the know, on what the Manhattan Project was.....a secret, underground submarine base...:).
