There are several dozen online geneologies (Manseau is a very old name in
Quebec any way you slice it) but most of them dont follow all of the
children, just the line the researcher's family came from. Also, some of
them brush over certain details the researcher would rather not deal with.
Then there is the just plain wierd stuff. According to one of the online
geneologies one woman on the US side was born in Maine in 1608, which afaik
is before even the Mayflower. And given the name I don't think she was
Indian. I will have to look into actual records to determine what actually
happened and verify this other research. So far I have gotten as far as
bookmarking the web page for the Bibliotheque Nationale and the Archives :)
