If that is the case, then that is fine with me, but you don't need a hummer.

A 6 cylinder Jeep Grand Cherokee, or a 4 cylinder Ford Escape would do that
job fine I imagine.

The purchase should fit the need. If the need requires taking that many
checks on a regular basis, then by all means buy a vehicle that can handle
it. But if 99.99% of the time you take over enough to fit in the trunk, then
over time you have probably saved more money.

Let common sense dictate your actions on this stuff.
