That is the way I started, and soon discovered the need to get bandwidth greater
than was available on ADSL, which caps the upload considerably, which will make
hosted pages load very slowly.

It soon evolved into a server room with much more bandwidth, and many more
machines, as well as offering a variety of database products, and Operating
system platforms.

It sounds great to offer cheap pricing, but they should not be so low that you
are subsidizing the costs from your own outside income, including software
licensing costs.
