There's a little difference of 10 years there. And the fact that the inspectors back in the early '90s DID destroy material and stated that the materials Iraq was manufacturing had a shelf-life of only a few years. The long range capability the administration touted has been disproven, and the supposed light aircraft for dispensing something has been shown to be only a prototype of something less useful than the original Wright Flyer.
We had first hand evidence of the existence of Saddam right before the war. We don't yet for WMD. I supported inspectors before the war, and I strongly support an investigation now in the apparent absence of WMD. It's just a joke that Bush is the one calling it "revisionist history". -Kevin > -----Original Message----- > From: John Stanley [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Wednesday, June 18, 2003 8:24 AM > To: CF-Community > Subject: RE: Revisionist History > > > I saw enough evidence that he at one point had them (Kurds), > and he provided no evidence that he had destroyed them, > therefore we had to assume that they still exist, as you > assume that Saddam really does exist, even though you have no > direct proof of it. > > -----Original Message----- > From: Kevin Graeme [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Wednesday, June 18, 2003 9:20 AM > To: CF-Community > Subject: RE: Revisionist History > > > Heh.
