It doesn't even have an answer to the question where all the 'dark mass' is in the galaxy. But that doesn't mean it won't have an answer someday (if we just pour a few more billion into research project X and some more into project Y). >That is where faith comes in. Which is why I think that there is no fundamental difference between science and traditional religion. In the end, neither can prove that their vision on the universe as we know it is the correct one, so it comes down to a personal preference for either one that is built on logic, or one that is built on old books (overgeneralization, I know). I prefer the one based on logic, but I can't 'prove' it any more as I can disprove the existence of some deity or I can rationalize that a fundamental requirement for it is free will and it follows from it that free will doesn't exist.
