I live in Kentucky, but a quick google search turned up requirements in
Arizona, Utah, Nebraska, Texas, Kansas, and many others. I didn't read the
details of each.

Here somebody goes down to the health department, watch a 20 minute video
and take a multiple choice test. Basically it is wash your hands after use
the bathroom and make sure too cook the chicken.

I don't claim that it is right; I only claim that it happens.
