Now that I'm already remote, is there any way possible to do this?  I do
have access to my network, just not that machine over VNC.

Don't forget to setup the SQL server in the Client Network Utility. If
you don't, it will never connect. I see many people forgot this part.

open up 1433 TCP and then you should be able to connect to your db
remotely via Sql enterprise manager & Query analyzer as long as you have
remote connections allowed in the server setup.
