(paranoia) But I much prefer a very narrow implementation of these sorts of things. If the child is endangered it needs help. If the child is simply not being talk to accept Jesus (or whatever) the way someone else thinks it should, then that is something that should not draw government attention. But in a public atmosphere where the president of the United States decides that gay marriage is important but oh unemplyement is not.....
