I am pro choice, with reservations. Restrictions on third term abortions seem reasonable to me. I am not sure I agree with the move where you like the politics thing though; it would seem to make us all single-issue voters. It's a better solution than across the board restictions on abortion though, I will say that.
However my main point here is to point out the inconsistency. It goes both ways... why deplore capital punishment because all life is sacred, but flatly refuse to say anything about abortion? Why oppose all abortion but then treat the resulting children like an unwanted litter of kittens? Absolutist positions make me nervous. Dana Tim Heald writes: > I am pro choice also.
