Actually, yes :-)

One NIC goes to a load balancer and the other NIC goes to the internet.  Our setup 
requires that the load balancer be a gateway on the first NIC in order to handle http 
requests.

I did that and the servers can access the SQL and NAS servers - they just can't get 
out to the net but that's not too bad...
