For the attack in Israel, I place the blame squarely on the Palestinian
government. Rather than remove terrorist organizations as they've promised,
rather than disarm them, rather than take control, they've coddled these
murderers and let them roam free. People are going to say that this was in
retaliation for a terrorist killed the other week when his weapons shop blew up
while he was resisting arrest. If he was arrested by the PA, he would still be
alive (unless he was an Israeli collaborator in which case he would be killed in
the street). If he didn't have a weapons shop, it would not have blown up. If
the PA did what they said they would do then there would be no terrorists
blowing children up. There would only be lawful Palestinians who want their own
state. Problem is, this is not the case.
We saw (at least those outside America saw) dancing in the street from this
attack. Fireworks over Hebron. Candies and congratulations being passed out
freely because of the death of innocents. This must stop for there to be a
Palestine. At this rate there never will be such a land and rightfully so.
As for the UN, it's as if their attack were the only one in existance. The UN
flags were all lowered. Annan made statements against the attack. The whole nine
yards. Israel's suffering is just ignored. But that's expected by now from the
UN.
And will the UN now take a stand against terrorism, all terrorism? No. They'll
just wish it away as they always do. Except for that emergency meeting of The
Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination so they can jump on a law
that Israel passed that mirrors the laws of other lands.
